SCRIPT OF THE VIDEO WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES:

Hello everyone. In this video, I would like to talk to you about the concept of Mahat, the goddess of truth and justice in ancient Egypt. The ancient Egyptians placed great importance on truth. They were keen observers and had carefully noticed that lying had very harmful effects on the human body, that it caused illness and the degeneration of the human body. But they also observed that lying at the societal level was also very harmful and that it brought poverty, decline and chaos to societies as well. So for them lying was truly an abomination to the gods. Through the work of Dr. Bates who was an opthalmologist in the United States, we can see that the claims of the ancient Egyptians about the harmful effects of lies on the human body were completely justified. This doctor had observed with the help of a retinoscope that his patients vision would decline when they lied or when they said something that was false, even if they didn't know it was false. Fortunately, the decline in vision only lasted as long as the lie. Additionally, practitioners of alternative medicine have observed that lying causes a decrease in muscle tone in the body. And they use this property to question the body about its traumas, its blockages, its illnesses, and the remedies that would be most appropriate. You can learn more about Mahat and its interesting applications in daily life by reading my book: Maat revealed philosophy of justice in ancient Egypt. I'll put a link in the description. I hope you found this video very interesting and that you too will use the properties of truth that will bring lasting health, steady growth, and prosperity into your life.
